Jim Bullard

Jim Bullard has over 25 years of Human Resources experience in Southern California largely working in hospitality and entertainment.

After completing his education at Santa Rosa Junior College and UCLA Film Program, Jim began his career in administration at the esteemed entertainment law firm of Bloom, Hergott, Diemer, & Cook in Beverly Hills, CA, where he worked closely with senior partner Jake Bloom for nine years. He believes this experience helped ignite his passion to learn about the law.

Transitioning to Human Resources, Jim joined Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation before moving to the historic Argyle Hotel, where he first worked under Lesley Carey, marking his entry into the luxury hotel market. Jim has held key HR positions at other companies, including E! Entertainment and Fantasy Springs Resort Casino, managing their recruiting and expansion of headcount.

Returning again to work with Lesley Carey, Jim served as the head of HR at Palmer Hospitality Group and K Hotels in Beverly Hills before returning back to Palm Springs, CA to work for hospitality brands such as Hyatt under Hospitality Ventures Management Group and then Azul Hospitality Group. Excited about what Lesley Carey was creating with Cashmere Hotel Group, he eagerly joined the team 2021 traveling to Bali, Indonesia.

Jim is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management and Professionals in Human Resources Association, reflecting his commitment to his professional development.

Jim enjoys living in the resort community of Palm Springs and has been a resident there since 2003. He loves that CHG is based in the desert. Outside of work, Jim has volunteered for various local organizations including Hanson House which provides temporary hospitality housing for family members of trauma and cancer patients receiving treatment. He enjoys leisure activities such as dining al fresco, watching historical dramas, swimming, walks, wine tasting with friends, and yoga.
